How Have Artists Been Inspiring You?
You don’t have to leave your house to be inspired by art. The artists we see provide a glimpse into their creativity and offer an opportunity for anyone who may not otherwise allow themselves the pleasure of walking around, to be exposed to all different facets of life.
When does inspiration come from?
Creative inspiration can be found anywhere- even in your daily life. With the creative technology available today, a small change can make all the difference. Creative inspiration is tricky to pin down, and it is a mystery that everyone would like to know. Some believe that when a poet or writer has a burst of inspiration, the sudden idea has been steadily brewing for years. Others think that great ideas occur at random moments and flow into our minds without reason. No matter which theory you subscribe to, though, one inspiration is universal– having a sense of purpose every day inspires us in all our endeavors. In that spirit, we offer you this piece of writing by William Wordsworth. It is one of his more descriptive pieces, and it states the idea beautifully.
The Importance of Inspiration in Art
Inspiration is an essential part of any artist’s process. It can come in many shapes, forms, and places. Inspiration might come from a story you heard, or the beauty around you. Inspiration can also come from your own thoughts and feelings. Having inspiration to work with is a vital aspect of art. Without it, it becomes harder to create something meaningful and shareable. Every artist gets inspiration on a daily basis. The key part of the process to becoming a professional is being able to maintain focus without inspiration. We tend to forget about feeling inspired easily (when we’re “doing it”), but this isn’t always a bad thing. It’s important that we don’t go on auto-pilot; we have to use our intuition in order for everything to become something more beautiful than what we made in the first place.
